While potty training isn’t a main focus of what we do, we are more than happy to spend some time during your training sessions discussing best practices if that is something you’re struggling with.
We do! Our methods will be slightly modified for puppies under 5 months of age, but starting early is a great way to learn how to prevent some common issues from developing!
The e-collar is an additional form of communication that can help give clearer direction to your dog. Unlike a traditional shock collar, the sensation given to the dog is localized, and very mild. We teach the dog that when they feel that mild sensation from the collar, it’s a cue to look and listen, as there is something being asked of them.
We typically schedule the lessons to be one week apart, and they are one hour each. When you purchase a package, we will find a day of the week and time that works for you, and schedule out all of your lessons for that same time each week if at all possible.
We will travel up to 50 miles from central Des Moines for no charge. We can travel up to 100 miles for an additional charge
We currently specialize only in general obedience training and behavior modification. However, if you are looking to do specialty training, like agility, therapy, or scent work, we can customize our program to get you started on those things.
